ZEENIA KAMANI
Originally from Mumbai, India, Zeenia embarked on a significant life change in 2018 when she moved to Kenya. Before this transition, Zeenia carved out a notable career in the legal domain in Mumbai. She has worked at incredibly respectable law firms, where she honed her skills in both civil as well as corporate commercial law. This experience laid a solid foundation for her next role at the Walt Disney Company India Ltd., where she specialized in intellectual property matters, navigating the complex and dynamic world of media production and distribution with finesse and expertise.
As much as Zeenia enjoyed her fast-paced life in the legal world, she would have happily given it all up for her penchant for travel. Her curious personality thrives on discovering new places, traditions, food and ways of life. The sights and sounds of an unknown destination and the thrill of a new adventure make her spirit soar. Her relocation to Kenya following her marriage marked a pivotal turn in her life, re-igniting an already profound interest in luxury travel. She felt a deep, almost mystical draw to the continent, convinced that Africa was beckoning her to explore her vast landscapes and raw, unfiltered beauty. This passion for travel became the catalyst for ZIA - Travel Atelier.
Working alongside her husband Bobby, Zeenia forms one half of an ideal team. Bobby’s outgoing personality, extensive network, and understanding of diverse cultures complement Zeenia’s meticulous planning skills, attention to detail, deadline management and invaluable ability to assess and manage risks and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Zeenia is a person of diverse interests and hobbies, which add depth to her personality. She is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoys reading, cooking, listening to and playing music and video games. Zeenia’s love for wildlife photography is an extension of her deep respect and fascination for the natural world. More than a hobby, it is a form of activism, using her talent to raise awareness about wildlife conservation.
